I shave my head - grade 0, I get the old razor out :)

Will doing this, as with the face, open the pores thus allowing the minoxidil to get right in there?

Makes sense to me but hey, I know nothing :)

Thanks guys

shaving you head will not improve minoxidil's absorption

a hydrated scalp will improve absorption
or possibly RET-A or some other tretinoin bases cream or gel might

in theary yes but would be a pain to do every day and cant be very healthy. My advise would be to get a derma roller. I got one from ebay (clearskin brand) 0.75 needles. I have to say i havent had it that long but after using it for a week it seem amazing. My scalp feels alive again like the circulation is getting to places it was'nt before. and if you have short hair (mines a grade 2) the minoxidil seems to soak straight in to the skin it makes a HUGE difference.

im in the uk too mate i got mine from ebay its from and australian company called clearskin there roller is call and skin and scalp roller i think its the 0.75 ml version which is design for the scalp they do one other one its a 0.5 but thats more for the face. there are a few makes out there and though i have only tried this one i did some research and this company seemed the best and the 0.75 lenghtth seems spot on. It quite dear it cost me about 56 quid inc delivery i think, but they say it last a year, some of the rollers i came across only stated 3 month life span so i would seriously just get the clearskin one. lol i sound like a sales man for them now but seriously i have only been useing mine for 2 weeks and i cant imagine not having it now my scalp feels f*cking great
