I have not tried tricomin, but folligen keeps my scalp healthy while I am using minoxidil.

from what i've gathered from sources online, folligen seems the better.
Do you apply yours on the hairline?

I've tried both and truly like them both.

Folligen is stronger but messy
Tricomin is weaker but not messy and is very soothing to help with irritation

I think you should try both. But try Folligen first since I think they sell a small cheap sample bottle.

Well i'm in the UK so i have to pay a fair bit in shipping fees! I only really want it for my hairline and temples as minoxidil hasn't worked for me, so there's not much irritation that needs sorting. (Although I have been contemplating on getting on Polaris NR-07) but really just wanted a substitute for minoxidil.

Understood.

You might want to look into the folligen cream if it's just for your hairline.

Tell you what though...it's not going to give you regrowth. There is a certain amount of temple loss and receding hairline that you simply cannot fight.
