After starting propecia i noticed really small hairs growing on my temples... few weeks later, my temples and hairline went to hell.. i searched online, and found something called 'follicular disaster' were all male pattern baldness hair goes bad at once... i didnt beleive it until i looked at my hair, and noticed that all of my male pattern baldness hairs are either thinner and frial.. is there something to follicular disaster?

sorry never heard of it, i think its more likely you're just having a shed which is normally a good sign as it usually precedes some regrowth.

Try not to panic and ride it out.

it happened so close to my propecia treatment, that i'm hoping its "THE SHED" and i may have a good chance of having regrowth... honestly, before propecia, i was only a diffuse thinner, with no male pattern baldness patterns.. now i i can my hairline with one of the norwood scale thingies

May be I should stop taking propecia. Because I am still a diffuse thinner, without any particular pattern. I am really worried after reading this things.

yup, i also have them thin hairs everywhere... very light.. some have grown longer.. some dont exhibit change... i'm praying that eventually i can recover what i lost from the propecia shed and maintain the hair i have in back.. (which honestly, doesnt look as bad when compared to the damage to my hairline)

stick with it arya.. the way i see it, propecia is the last chance we have at preventing hairloss.. it might make your hair worse, but it also might make it better
