Foam to Liquid switchers exp. please!

Hi Gents,

Here is my brief minoxidil usage. Now, foam to liquid switchers, could you please share me when will be the potential shed stop again and when can i see some results?

Jan 2006 - Feb 2007 - Rogaine liquid - good results
Mar 2007 - Oct 2007 - Rogaine foam - terrible shedding, lost ground.
Dec 2007 - Till date - Minoxidil liquid with BV - still shedding but not bad as foam...

I was on rogaine liquid for about 9 months then switched to the foam for about 2. Lost ground and hair looked like crap. I got off that stuff and back on the liquid since mid august and my hair looks alot better then it did with the foam. I think it would be wise to wait a few years and let others determine if the stuff actually does work becuase it really has not been around long enough to get an accurate opinion of it. Personally, i recommend you stay on the liquid and keep your hair short and you should be better off.

I have been having the same dilemma about whether to revert back the liquid or not....

I have been using Rogain for about 5/6 years now - the first 3 years when I was on the liquid I got a significant amount of regrowth, however when I switched to the foam it did absolutely f**k all and I ended up loosing the hair the liquid regrew (the foam is barely maintaining what I have left.)

The only problem is, I absolutely can not stand the liquid. It's really f**king horrid stuff compared to the foam and I know once I start using it - i'm going to have commit myself to using it everyday.

I'm currently on Propecia and I've recently noticed some new hairs have been sprouting along my hairline and temples, so I think i'm just gonna ride it out for the next couple of months and see how much regrowth I get. If not, I'm gonna have to get back on the liquid sometime soon......
