one of the sides of propecia is possible acne becuse of raised estrogen. Would fluridil do the same thing? Fluridil is supposed to blocke the receptors from dht, propecia inhibits dht, they work in differnt ways, so my question is does fluridil increase estrogen in the body that would cause acne? I dont think it would because its blocking dht at the site

anyways your input is appreciated

Did you know that estrogens are sometimes used as a treatment for acne?

thanks bryan...

would fluridil cause the same type of possible sides that propecia does because of the dht blocking?

please advise

Well, if fluridil truly has as minimal a chance of being absorbed systemically as they claim, then it seems HIGHLY unlikely that there would be similar side-effects...

Bryan,
What happens to the dht that is blocked from fluridil? Does is go back in the system and in turn raise estrogen?

sorry if I am redundant, I am on Fluridil and Im curious in this matter

As far is I know, nothing happens to it. DHT just passes the hair follicles but because of Fluridil it can't attach to the follicles, just like it would happen if you were a person without male pattern baldness.
