just got my fluridil today, i am excited about this for i really think it will do something about my hairloss, do not think i am responding well to propecia, i am currently using rogaine however, and on the fluridil website it says the rogaine may decompose the fluridl unless my scalp is completely dry, has anyone had success using the 2 together, and how long should i wait to apply fluril, 20 min maybe?

Hi,

Congrats on your new treatment!

I am using fluridil too (it's been 2.5 months, too early to judge). I use it in the morning (I know they recommend at night) and at night I use minoxidil. I have been using minoxidil for very long so I think cutting it down to once a day is fine, especially when I use fluridil in conjunction.

I chose to use fluridil in the morning and minoxidil at night because fluridil doesn't leave my hair dry or greacy...my hair looks just fine after apllying it. Minoxidil on the contrary leave my hair either greacy (if I use rogain) or dry (if I use dr. lees). Fluridil is supposed to act 24 hours or so (this is why one application a day should be enough) so I think their recommendation about nightime souldn't matter much.

To be on the safe side, seperate your application of minoxidil and fluridil like me. It sould be just fine.

Good luck!

You will need to use minoxidil for more than 2 months to see good results! try using some Nizoral 2% three times a week as well
