first treatment

im receading at the temples, about an inch and half back, the rest of my hair is thick, im wanting to start treatments to improve my hairline, im going to start with just one, and then after a few months, maybe add something else, but will have to see on the results i get.

1, whats the best product to start with?
2, i live in the uk, so where is the best and cheapest place to order from?
3, i style my hair everyday, is it ok to still do so, while using treatments?

Minoxidil only helps with temples. Regaine is the easiest to get from chemist's shops.

the most popular treatment is called 'propecia.' its a tablet that contains finasteride which lowers the second of two types of dht, the type thats in the hair follicle. its more of a preventative treatment which halts further loss rather than regrowing hair. to get it in the uk you need a prescription from your doctor then you can get it in almost any chemist though some may have to order it. costs about £35/40 for a months supply - the cheapest i remember was in asda. you can also order it from overseas from some online pharmacies that dont need a script - prices vary and you can get non branded finasteride very cheaply but you have to wait a week or more each time for it to arrive.
