Hello guys, im a 21 year old male from S.Korea, and a couple of months ago i just caught my hair looking like it's thinning out, i've already been to a doctor and she basically refused to send me to a dermatologist since she said i was looking okay, but she just took a quick look at my scalp no scanning or anything and concluded nothing was wrong.
I used to have very thick hair from what i remember but it was also much longer than it is now, and it seems to be thinning equally all over the head.

Im asian so i've read that i am more prone to general thinning before going bald, rather than the typical norwood index pattern.

I'm very concerned and stressed out due to the fact that i might lose my hair at such an early stage of life. My temples doesn't seem to be receding, but im still very concerned, would love if someone could take a look at it and from their own experience see if i have managed to catch this very early on. I've posted some pics of both the most normal looking and the worst looking.

Thanks in advance everyone!

PS: A thing worth mentioning is that for the last 2.5 year i have been living extremely unhealthy, zero exercise, drinking at least a 0.75 ml cola a day, Fastfood at least 3 times a week, never took any dietry supplements. and fruit and vegetables were fantasy food for me.

Seems plausible to me... A matter of perspective.

If i saw this, I would assume its the beginning of male pattern baldness...

Ps. Pic 3 looks terrible... Get it checked with an hair transplant specialist or an HD photo of a zoomed shot under good lighting. This will reveal if miniaturization is prevalent.

Uhhmmm. I think i'll try talking to a dermatologist before i'll try talking to a person that wants to sell me a super expensive hair transplant, and possibly getting my scalp scanned. But else thanks, not what i was looking after though.

I never said get an hair transplant, hair transplant specialists merely know the signs of male pattern baldness best... I was asking you to seek consultation to a professional to check for minituarization, which yout 'DERMATOLOGIST' as you said yourself barely even considered (genius). Dermatologists too often dont care about a mere man balding and generally disregard mild signs as to the untrained eye 'All is good'... Plus do you even have any idea how balding is actually detected or would you like to wait until you actually become considerably bald? PS. I asked for a scan because it will let you know for sure what your current status is, idk maybe ur derm might offer it to...

Just a thought do you have any old pictures of your crown? Post them and I can try and see if there actually is a difference between its density... This will be pretty helpful and try and see if ur derm actually checks for minituarization.
