First Real Regime - finasteride, Lipo,nizo, Maybe S5

Has anyone had success with REGROWTH with 0.25 mg of finasteride EOD? Last attempt I had bad sides on the first day with 1 mg but after reading it seems few appear to be getting sides with 0.25 mg.

For the past 12 months, I have mainly been using a trichogen topical, HR23 multi vitamin, 320 mg of 90% fatty acid saw palmetto, 500 mg of pumpkin seed oil and Nizoral 2% twice a week alternated with Pura D'or Gold.

I haven't got any good pictures which show the balding zones as I keep my hair long enough to cover up, but I was a Norwood 2 with thinning at age 21, and can't tell any difference at age 22. If anything my hair looks healthier and thicker, however I suspect it could just be the usage of a better shampoo.

Considering the positive results in regards to maintenance, I was considering moving to a more aggressive regime to possibly achieve some good regrowth and remove the future need for a transplant altogether.

This is what my plan is for next year:

Nizoral 2% alternated with Pura D'or Gold
0.25 mg Propecia EOD
HR23 supplement EOD (off days)
Lipogaine sensitive once per day
Krill Oil

I also plan to cut out processed sugar entirely and halve my alcohol intake.

Considering I had good results for 12 months on a regime that most people would consider a joke, surely this plan would be effective to achieve some regrowth?

Also, I have considered an S5 cream but despite its prevalence on various forums I can't find a single study that says it reduces Alpha 5 reductase or DHT in the scalp, and nor can I find anyone who had good cosmetic results with it. Anyone care to vouch for it?

0.25 mg Propecia EOD

It has worked for some at these micro doses but you cannot sure it will work for exactly you, this is why the 1 mg dose is the standard.

Yes, if you get the "helmet" it may help as shown by more than one study.

Did you have a baseline hormone check prior to starting finasteride?

If you get fucked up you have nothing to compare it to.

This drug isn't safe no matter what your dermatologist, hair transplant doctor, or wherever you got this drug from says.

It lowers DHT and inhibits brain neurosteroids, it does its job. But it's not safe.

The fear of baldness ended up destroying my life with a drug I was told side effects were rare and go away after you stop.

Suppressing through most potent androgen male hormone will cause side effects, if not now, down the road.

You actually believe that 2 percent figure. You should learn how clinical trials actually work bro.

The f*****g leaflet says side effects may persist after discontinuation of the drug.

Just because you didn't have any problems doesn't mean other guys won't.

Thus drug is dangerous enough to be recognized by the American National Institute of Health with severe irreversible in some cases adverse side effects.

It's easy to say what you are saying when you haven't been affected.

Read the dealing with side effects forum from when this forum started of guys getting seriously fucked up.

So what it's been around 20 years. Many drugs have been on the Market that were eventually pulled. Remember Accutane? Vioxx?

I was perfectly healthy until I took this sh*t. Now I'm completely impotent, testicles have physically shrunk, cannot gain any muscle and have cognitive problems.

That is the risk anybody is taking. Even if it's with a minority of guys. It's still 10's of thousands.

I have nothing against you man, but start demonizing a drug whos side effects go exactly as stated in the leaflet. Merck isnt hiding anything from you. It was your decision o take the drug as it is mine. So i will deal with any side effects that do arise, and i am aware of the possibility of them around.

Is chancing permanent impotence worth slowing down your hair loss for maybe 5 years? Propecia will not cure your hair loss.

Brand name Accutane has been pulled. You can still get generics.

I had doubts of using finasteride because i was sh*t scared of fear of side effects, but a doctor assured me if you get any to just stop and they will go away.

Well, they haven't gone away.

And I have cognitive sides effects with memory, confusion, concentration issues, brain fog.

And that is nowhere listed as side effects in the leaflet.
