Hello,

I've been reading this board for some time now, and I've finally decided to register and ask for specific help.

Background:
23 Male, Norwood 2.5 - 3, male pattern baldness runs in the family, I've been slowly receding since I was 16. Within the last 2 years, I've noticed that I'm starting to thin.

I've already purchased 360 Cilpa finasteride pills at 1mg, 2 bottles of 2% Nizoral, and 6 Months of Rogaine Foam. I haven't started to use any of the products yet as I want to be certain it is "OK" to start all three at once.

I'm going bald. If I go bald faster trying to prevent male pattern baldness, what have I lost? I was heading there anyway :D I've determined that the risk is worth the reward.

Questions:
1) I would like recommendations on a regime
2) When I should start each product (all at once?).
3) Given my situation, how should the Rogaine foam be applied (e.g just the temples?).

Here is what we're dealing with:

Good you decided to get on the big three.

Getting on it is very easy. Take 1mg of finasteride once a day. Shampoo with nizoral twice a week and apply the rogaine foam both to the temples and the crown area twice each day. You have short hair so applying the minoxidil isn't going to be hard.

You can start with the nizoral shampoo and finasteride for the first 6 months if you want to observe you're results and see how you respond but if you're losing hair fast theres no point. Jump on the three at once.

apply foam all over. it would be easier to apply with your current short hair. you might experience sheds, just ride it out man.

1 pill propecia/ finasterid everymorning, and minoxidil foam in morning before work/ school. and minoxidil foam at night 10-30 min before sleap.
nizoral shampo 3 days a week or revita shampo 5 days a week.

GL it worked wonders for me!

I started 8 days ago.

I'm using everything as directed besides the Nizoral. The bottle says two times a week, so I'm going to keep it to Sunday and Wednesday use.

If anyone has any additional recommendations other than the big 3, I'm interested in hearing them!

Thanks for the reply! I read your post about a week ago. Very motivating! I'm looking forward to results, but like yourself, I feel better just doing something even if it doesn't work. My hopes are not set too high, but none the less, I'm anxious to see.

Would you mind explaining a little bit about the T-Gel? Specifically, what does it do and is it a major contributor to your results?

Lol, that's not me. I'm giving you his post b/c you're hair loss and potential regimen seems similar to his.
