Yeah, yeah - "it's not for hair loss." But it is a CRISPER therapy for a genetic disorder. If it works, then a CRISPER therapy for hair loss is a possibility, not a hypothetical. Is it near-term? Nope, but if it works, 10 or 20 years from now you will most likely be able to address hair loss genetically. Until then, it's Follica and whatever else comes out between now and then.

It's cold comfort, but I think Gen Z will almost certainly be the last bald generation (and hopefully, the last generation to suffer from a panoply of genetic disorders).

Genetic editing is the final frontier for sure. Hopefully this procedure goes well for them. Blindness is a terrifying condition, I wish good health for this patient.

It's really weird that people downvote a post about a therapy that might restore vision to the blind and someday cure hereditary baldness. there are some really dark, black-pilled souls on this board.
