First 2 weeks on finasteride, noticeably less hair shed in shower...

I am somewhat concerned. In normal circumstances it seems initially there should be shedding of hair to make room for regrowth; however, in my case the amount of hairs shedded in a shower has gone from about 50-60 on average to less than 15 within my first two weeks of finasteride. Is this decrease in hair shed desirable so soon?
