Finpecia Users - Different Taste

I have been getting a generic Propecia (Finpecia) for a few years. It's manufactured by Cipla.

I got a new batch a few months ago - and it tasted distinctly different. Should I be worried?

Have any other Finpecia users noticed a different taste in the last few months (whether yes or no, where are you buying it?)? Is it simply a change of coating by Cipla? Or is it possible to buy a "bogus" generic?

why do you taste them? I just gulp my meds down with a glass of water

I gulp them down without the water - so I taste them for about a second on my tongue. I guess I would not have picked up on the new taste otherwise. It's not bad (nor was it bad before) just different. But why would they change the taste? A cheaper coating? Or is it something else altogether?
