I know there have been topics like this before, but just wanted some updated opinions.

I purchased a years worth of Finpecia from UK Finasteride in December last year and have been taking it everyday since, so just under 7 months and my hair has never looked worse. Prior to taking Finpecia my hair loss was very very slow, I would say I was a moderately diffuse norwood 2 and had been that way for years, since taking Finpecia I have definitely receded further and the hair line is considerably worse, I will post pictures later tonight for comparison.

My question is has anyone else had issues with the legitimacy of Finpecia from UK Finasteride?

Finpecia is the first thing I have taken for my hair loss, it was just very very slow, since taking it has accelerated quite significantly.

if you're talking about ukfinasteride.info I'm 99.9% certain they sell legit meds.

You may just not be a responder - finasteride doesn't work for everyone unfortunately. Or you may be experiencing shedding - they usually say to give finasteride at least a year before determining whether it is or isn't working for you. Maybe you could speak to a Doctor with expertise in the subject - the prescribing Dr from ukfinasteride (Dr. Singh I think) apparently has a lot of experience with hairloss

or if you really want to be sure you could switch to branded Propecia

I could understand being a non-responder but my hair loss has definitely increased since taking it, when are shed hairs supposed to return, if indeed they do?

I started my first batch from them too 2 years ago.

I have to say that the first year was also turbulent for me, but I thought to myself what other options do I have? Quit now and lose more hair, or stick with it and assess after one year.

My hair looked pretty bad during this time, then all of a sudden things started to stabilise. What I mean by that is that overall net hair loss has reduced. I still lose a frightening amount of hair everyday while combing and washing but this has gone on for a year and it still looks roughly the same so I can say that at least the lost hairs are regrowing.

Thank you for the encouraging words Bowser :) I shall continue
