I have been on Finesteride for 8 years
Minoxidil for 1.5 years, and yesterday received Prp +ACell.
I have minimal hair loss and a little recession on the hairline. Minoxidil does work on the hairline. If anyone has questions let me know. I’m glad there is a forum where we can all help each other

The first 2 photos are from mid 2016, started using minoxidil foam on the hairline shortly after. All pictures are with my hair damp. I have been very pleased so far. The finasteride that I started 8 years ago just maintained what I had. Never grew hair like the minoxidil.

No side effects with the finasteride after 8 years. Do you know if that means I won’t ever experience some side effects in the future? Finasteride has definitely maintained my hair. Minoxidil foam has strengthened my hair follicles and have grown some fine hairs. I will always use it. I did PRP yesterday to see if I can get more hair on the hairline. Hopefully it works

I only apply it to my hairline. Morning and at night.
I still want a stronger hairline. That’s why I did PRP. I actually got it done yesterday

Yes. No further recession since I have been on finasteride. When I was 26 when I noticed some recession. Got on finasteride as soon as I could and the recession stopped. I’m 34 now.

I have started to use Minoxidil foam 1 month ago, my hairline look 100% similar like yours before the treatment.

1. It looks like your hair got thick and stronger but the temples are still there (correct me if i'm wrong). It just looks that it's thick&long enough to perfectlly cover the left temple, but the right one is still exposted. So I don't have any chance to regrow my temples? (i'm 22).
2. Should I hop on that Finastride right now or wait few years and stay meanwhile with the minoxidill? cuz I wanna avoid the fina as much as I can ,, (I'm so scared of the sides).

I started finasteride in 2010. It stopped the hair loss, no new growth seen though. Started the minoxidil in mid 2016. It took about a full year to see results. It has strengthened my hair follicles and grew some new baby hairs. I apply it 2 times a day religiously. I will never stop it. I did itch for a couple of weeks and then it went away

Jump on the minoxidil as soon as you can. I get the generic from Target. It equals to about $10 a month. I am fortunate that I have no side effects. I’m a believer in minoxidil. I am able to comb it over and part it without it looking really thin. I did just get PRP yesterday to hopefully get an even stronger hairline. Thanks for the positive feedback!

I didn’t get really any results on my temples/side of head. Little bit of fuzzy hair has grown but not real noticeable.

I did it yesterday, so no. Lol. My hairline is really sore though. I felt like the team was really focusing and injecting on my areas I needed most. I’m very optimistic about the future result. They said there protocol is another treatment in 3 months then once a year after that. $750 a session.
