Fine hair or male pattern baldness? Advice please on crown

HI all
I am 33 year old South Asian guy and noticed my crown before I had a shower. It looks like I have signs of male pattern baldness but then after shower and washing hair it looks less extreme. Anyone has opinions on this? Two pictures one before washing hair and one after.
