ok....it has been about 6 months now on fincar. I dont see any change in fact i see more of a decline. its almost time to order some more finasteride....now i am writing to those who have taken FINCAR and switched to PROSCAR because they felt FINCAR didnt do anything. I only want for those to respond who have switched from fincar to proscar. And when they have switched did they get an improvement? or was it the same? i didnt get any side effects off fincar besides having scalple pimples and extreme itchiness for the first couple months. so...i am also on 15% and 5% and spironolactone 2%. so again if any of you have switched from fincar to proscar or others and have had a way better "growing" experience please write here and tell me where you got it from. thx! oh yea...if you think i should order another 6 months and see if the year mark brings anything please comment on that too. thx again

As long as it is real finasteride, no differences would or could occur.

Propecia = Finasteride 1 mg
Proscar = Finasteride 5 mg

Finpecia = Finasteride 1mg
Fincar = Finasteride 5 mg

No differences, all the same.

Exactly, as long as it is *real* what you have been getting.

Personally, I just get proscar and split it., rather then worrying about what I am getting etc. Yes yes, please don't flame me how fincar, cipla etc are all real finasteride. I just choose to not bother saving a $100 / year and KNOWING what I get from my local USA pharmacy is really finasteride. Offshore pharmacies, you never know with 100% confidence you are getting finasteride unadulterated and *pure*.

As I split proscar 8 ways, it only costs me like $9/month which is not a lot of money. So $100/yr versus $50 or so, big deal....

where are you getting proscar for 100 a year?

At my dosage, $9/month is $108 if you want to be exact.

Drugstore.com sells 30 proscar for $70

man my fincar is only 63 for the whole year....if was to switch to proscar that would be at least 210 a year.

Yea, so? How much cheaper is it then Propecia name brand? And that is really not that much money, seriously. What's that, 2 lunches a month? :d I am sure you waste far more then that per month on random sh*t (or booze in one night out lol) :)

Whatever you want.... I personally enjoy the peace of mind of knowing 100% what I am getting.

[Note to other posters. Please dont flame me, this is MY DECISION. As that offshore stuff can't make me feel 100% confident I am getting the PURE and UNADULTERATED finasteride. You never REALLY know what is in any pill granted, but I like knowing FDA is watching. And yes, yada yada, i heard cipla builds in FDA approved facilities...whatever. I also heard cipla or reddy(?) just got in trouble....]

i get my fincar off a site this site sponsors or host. drugs-one.com now i agree with what you said about piece of mind. but on fincar i only have to dish out 43 for a half year supply as for what you got i have to dish out 150 just for half year at one time....and is all proscar legit?

I think your math is wrong :) or do you take more the 1mg / day?

Should be ~$208/yr :)
