Okay, two simple questions for everyone who is taking finasteride -

1. Are you experiencing side effects? Answer with - Y/N?

2. If so what are you experiencing? Answer with - SIDE EFFECTS/ N/A

1. Yes BUT only in the beginning.

2. At first, increased libido (1 week) and then groin ache (3 days or so)

I have been on Propecia (Proscar quartered) about 1 1/2 years

Well I'm not on it anymore however while I was on it, I did experience sides.

Increased libido for the first 2 weeks or so, after that it really seesawed back and forth for basically the entire 11 months I was on it. Decrease in sex drive, No trouble getting an erection though. Itchy scalp, Tiny man boobies as well and minor testicular pain off and on for the duration of the time I was on it.

I started taking it earlier then the recommended age though, So that could have played a role. Everything went back to normal after being off it.

Although It did stop my male pattern baldness, so I will be getting back on it eventually and see if I have a better go of it.
