wouldnt it make sense, however, that by lowering the dht in your prostate after an extended period of time, you, by default, reduce overall dht levels in your blood, in turn, lowering dht levels on your scalp?

Or maybe it would make sense that, detecting the low levels of DHT in the prostate, the body might upregulate 5-a reductase production to compensate.

It would make sense, but studies on oral SawPalmetto show that serum DHT is not lowered, showing SawPalmetto does not block 5AR to the same degree that finasteride does (finasteride reduces serum DHT by 60-70%).
