hi thancks for the posts. i will respond the questions. when i started taking finasteride, i was losing hair for about 3 or 4 years. but i still have many hair in my head. i started that and my hair loss stopted completely. i was not seeing anymore hair in my pillow and i was not losing any more hairs in bath. i was so glad with that. i had not inicialy shed like many others have. it stopped the hair loss without a shed. but in the mounth 6 i started to shed again.... and i became worried, but i have read many post in here talking about shed that i decided to wait. the time was passing by, and now in my mounth 9 i am sheeding like i never was before... i have more shed that i had before finasteride.... i dont know if this shed is a good sign or not, i hope that it is.... yesterday when i went to bed, i pulled some hairs of my head with my finger....and i have counter the hairs that falled out...was 30 hairs! i was in panic! i never see so much hair falling in the same time. and in the shower is always like 20 hairs or something like that. i can see new hairs coming,they are some, but are less than the hair that is shedding for sure. my questions are:
1- do you thinck that i am going in a finasteride shed and it is a good sign?
2- how long i have to wait to it stop shedding? (i am shedding like 3 mounths)
3- anyone of you have a finasteride shed and passed that with success? when i say success is if you are now with more hair than before shed and if your hair is more strong. in witch mounth you had a shed? anyone like me that the drug worked so well to stop hair loss and then in mounths 5 or 6 or something like that started to a horrible shed?
4- Dudasteride is a alternative to me right now? or wait to one year of finasteride?
PLEASE I NEED TO ANYONE TO ANSWEER THE QUESTION... BECOUSE I AM BECOMING CRASY.
