finasteride versus dutasteride

Heya,

Have been on finasteride since 6th Jan and tbh I can see *no* benefit from it. Do you ppl recommened go on dutasteride? Or should I leave it longer?

Quick standard reply: 2 months on finasteride is way too early to judge. Come back in 10 months and judge then. Finasteride works slow. Be patient, the odds are in your favor. Don't get your hopes up for regrowth though.

Well, not so much regrowth but EXCELLENT maintenance

Whereas before even shaking my head vigoursly would cause a snowstorm of hair to fall out, now even when I shower only perhaps 1 or 2 fall out!

I can even pinch my hair and it wont pull out; if I was to do that 6 months ago I would pull out half my hair with one pinch!

in 14 weeks my perfect hairline hair turned into bruce willis with vellus while on propecia... if propecia is maintance, i should regrow everything i lost, right? thats all i want at this point... but it still seems to be getting worse.... what the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Propecia is either f*****g my hairline up too or it's not working... either way I've only been on it 2 months so I'll give it a chance.
