For me I was on finasteride for a year with 0 results and constant shedding, started minoxidil shed for the first 2 months then shedding stopped. After that I had the best year of hair in my life, returned to a thick NW0. However since then ive been on a constant shed and my hair is pretty much baseline.
I’m uncertain if finasteride works for me, I’ve been on it for 3 1/2 Years now and minoxidil for 2 so I don’t know which one is keeping my hair. I haven’t lost any hair since starting my treatments but not have a gained any.
To answer your question, yes it is normal but then again everyone reacts differently. If your hair is worse off at the year mark then treatments haven’t work.
Remember maintaining is a success, not all of us get crazy regrowth.

I've been using finasteride for 2 month now; but my hair get worse I cant even hide the scalp.
I'm using
finasteride 1.25
minoxidil 1.5 m
nizoral
is that normal? should I keep up?
please if so tell your story I will be thankful
My suggestion is to stick with it until you hit the 6 month mark, then check to see if there is any improvement. 2 months is not long enough to see results, far from it.
