Finasteride Upped Dosage To 1mg (side Effects)

I've been on finasteride for nearly 3 months, I've been taking 0.5mg up until a a week ago. When I started on 0.5mg I had sides like weak erection, watery semen but they mostly cleared up a few weeks ago so i decided to up the dose to 1mg but the weak erection is back, I don't know how much of it is due to me thinking about ti constantly but I'm hoping it subsides more with time like it do for the 0.5mg dose.

Why not Rx Finasteride every alternate day at morning after having breakfast?


No need to cut 1mg tablet at all.

Yeah I'll probably give it a month and if it's not better I'll go back to 0.5mg

I hear it's better to take 0.5mg everyday than to alternate 1mg

Finasteride binding to enzyme can actually be advantageous in taking drug every alternate day than taking 0.5 mg everyday.
