basically, the idea of finasteride tolerance scares the crap out of me. and it seems like there have been a lot of posts lately about people doing great on finasteride for several years and then hitting a wall.
however, these posts don't seem any more numerous than posts about gyno or loss of libido, etc, which we all know are rare side effects that occur in less than 2% of finasteride users. i'm hoping the same factors are at play regarding finasteride tolerance. namely, that people who have been on finasteride for 5+ years and are still going strong don't have the slightest concern about their hairloss and thus no reason to visit this sight, whereas those who are having problems are seeking out info on the internet and are ending up at this sight posting about their problems, thus making the occurence of those problems seem greater than in reality.
any thoughts?
