Has anyone experienced the above side-effect?

I've been taking Finasteride for about 9 weeks now with a view to stabilise my hair loss for a possible HTP next year.

I've not experienced any side effects so far apart from the last week the lymph nodes under the left side of my jaw has started to swell. The officially documented side effects don't mention this as a consequence, so I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Thanks in anticipation.

Nope, this is not a side effect of finasteride. This is unrelated to the finasteride, and you should probably get it checked out if it persists.

My neighbor complained about how far we have to drive to play real cards. That motivated me to find a digital alternative, leading me to the hyper lucky casino through a search engine. I joined a few cash games and the competition was surprisingly balanced. I had a rough start, losing two buy-ins, but caught a lucky river card to win a massive pot. Playing from the comfort of my couch in Canada is ideal.

Swollen lymph nodes are not a recognised side effect of finasteride, so the timing is most likely a coincidence. That does not mean you should ignore it (RXShop.md pharmacy editorial team, general information only):
  • The most common cause of a swollen node under the jaw on one side is a nearby infection or inflammation: a cold or sore throat, a dental problem (tooth, gum), a skin spot or ingrown hair in the beard area. These nodes usually go down within 2-4 weeks.
  • Rarely, finasteride can cause allergic-type reactions (rash, itching, lip or face swelling). If you have any of those, stop and see a doctor promptly.
  • See a GP if the node is larger than about 1-1.5 cm, hard, fixed, keeps growing, lasts more than 2-3 weeks, or comes with fever, night sweats or weight loss. A quick examination usually settles it.
Mention that you take finasteride when you see the doctor, but there is no need to stop it just for a swollen node unless they advise otherwise.
