Hello friends, i need serious help
I'm 19yrs old and I'm already nw2 and my dad is nw3.5 at the age of 55
But my uncles are completely bald
I'm starting finasteride 1mg daily
I don't want to go bald
Please check my photos and tell me how will it help me
Recession is not visible by naked eyes but i know I've a receding hairline and I've receded a lot
Btw, i Don't shed more than 15-20 visible hairs
Also my pillow is with 2-3 hairs
No hair on comb
Anyways I've got a negligible hairfall but temples are receding badly

Hello, I can't see closely, but from what I can tell you have little to no miniaturization. It could be a "mature hairline" and it does not look bad at all. No one in the world would think you are losing your hair when they look at you. I would not say you have "receded a lot". With Finasteride and with your current hair, you have a very high chance of keeping a good head of hair for many years.

Thanks for saying that but i personally know I've receded a lot and I'm surely suffering from male pattern baldness and it isn't a mature hairline because I've balding in my genes
So I've decided to start finasteride can't take risk of Losing more hair

Yes, it is a good idea with your family history. But at this point, your current hair loss is very minor. Good luck.

My only advice is to never skip doses, or going off / on the finasteride.

That is just a norwood 1, and almost not norwood. Are you going to sacrifice your dick cause that ?

Didnt you used to take weekends off from propecia? I can be mixing you up with someone else though...
No. Not me. I never skipped a single dose in 15yrs.

*took a 3 month break couple years ago. Was bad.

Is it that bad if you forget or can't do it once a week or if you can't go to the pharmacy and skip 3 days?
I always thought as being bad because if you keep taking it, your hormones / body will eventually adapt. I don't like the idea of having the hormones in a rollercoaster fashion..

Are you facing any sides?
I never did. Until i took a 3 month break after 13yrs on it.
Went back on it but some sides persisted for quite a while. It's been 2 years since i resumed and just now i feel that my body is close to what it was used to be.

Sides i had where difficulty staying asleep (could sleep for 4 hours only, every night. Went away after ~6 months) and less pleasure during orgasms (this one persisted for a long time. Just a few days ago i started to feel its coming back. Around 80% - 90% of what it was used to be) ...

But do you think those sexual side effects are so serious??

Trust me I just came back from 1.5 month break and I'm already seeing the damage done. I'm still gonna take weekends off from the drug, idk if it's placebo or what it is but this help s me avoid any sides.
