hi all, probably a stupid question here today but i've been reading this forum and the one over at thebaldtruth.com and i've seen two or three posters saying that finasteride actually sped up their hairloss, not just as a shed but on a permanent level. i was wondering if anyone could fill me in on whether or not this is true or just hysteria - i can't really understand how it makes sense that finasteride would actually accelerate hairloss.
the only things i could think would be that it was either a) a shed which they didn't stick on the finasteride thru, or b) that the hairs they lost were too far gone to save anyway and that the finasteride didn't actually accelerate the hairloss, it just was a little bit too late to save a hair or two.
cheers
