Finasteride Side Effects

I'm considering biting the bullet and starting on finasteride.
My main concerns are the sexual side effects as I am 20 year old college student (no receding hairline, 6 cm diameter thinning on crown). Are there ways to lessen the potential sexual side effects?
Please share your experiences with Finasteride or any other advice/experience!

I've been on finasteride since I was 18 (21 now), have not experienced any sexual side effects.
My GF and I bang like rabbits, and my solider is always at attention.
The best way to lesson potential sides is to not psych yourself out.
The more you think about it, the more likely you are to start drawing conclusions from delusions.
IMO take the pill everyday and just forget about it. you won't grow a vagina over night, and if you do start to develop side effects (albeit highly unlikely), they typically subside once you stop using finasteride.
Don't let the fear mongers on the internet scare you aware from finasteride

I was on finasteride for around 15yrs.. from 23 to 38..

never had any sides, maybe ball ache here and there, but since I've always been doing contact sports could have associated with it.. Never looked up on internet too, by the way (i.e. scared myself)..

Great to hear, man. Seems like the side effects are mostly all in the head most of the time. I'll have to ask my doctor about it then. Thanks for the input!

Hello. Is it possible to develop low testosteron levels from finasteride and have sex problems permanently after? I have been using finasteride for 2 years now and I feel like I dont really think about sex almost at all. It feels like it is not normal. Maybe I should chceck my levels with a doctor. I want to continue finasteride untill proper treatment but at the sametime I dont want to have permanent side effects. Cheers!
