Finasteride side effects, do they get better?

Does anyone have information or sources on side effects resolving while on finasteride?
I've tried to find information but I keep getting lead to the "post finasteride syndrome" stuff which I think is a load of crap tbh.

I am month 3 into finasteride 1mg.
Initially, had some testicular and prostate ache and for a few weeks saw my libido increase, but for the last month libido has dropped off, have no morning erections, can obtain an erection but it takes a bit of work so to speak, and I seem to be less erect than normal. Its definitely not anxiety induced because of the drug, as am quite happy taking it, my question is whether in peoples experience these side effects improve as am not keen to throw away the best chance at maintaining my hair.

Yes, my side effects subsided completely about four months after they appeared. I would say that it's VERY rare for them to be permenant, or even long lasting. Don't give up - I was about to quit but stuck it out and am happy for doing so.

Thats great news, I suspect it is just the general change and adaptation to the hormone changes. Hopefully it will settle down.

I think you just need some time to adjust. Give it some time. But keep in mind for some people like me finasteride normalizes some things. I had an insane libido. Could go for 20 rounds lol. I always wanted more and more like nymphomaniac Beeeeeetch. Now I'm happy with 1-2 rounds a day . I can go for more of course but I can finally feel satisfied. I can finally have a normal cuddle-movie time with my girlfriend without turning it to sex after 10 mins.

I'm 2 months on finasteride now. Have some sides like no morning wood, takes longer to get an erection and when I get one they are not 100%. Probabaly also some lower libido but I think this is caused because the erection related sides (you automatically crave less sex when you feel less certain about the stuff down there.
I will probably tapper off the drug soon to make sure everything turns back to how it was. After that I will start again on a very low dose (0.125 mg 3 times a week). If I experience no sides then I will gradually increase the dosage over the course of several months.

The sides I experience now are not that bad. I just want to make sure that my body is able to go to it's original state. Since I have a lot of trust in Replicel which will hopefully be be commercialized in 2018-2019 I will gladly trade 3 years of lower libido for a lifelong head of hair.
