So I finally decided to take up finasteride (1.25mg/day) after a lot of consideration and hesitation. Anyways, I've been on it for 3 weeks now. During first week I had some minor ball ache, but no difference in hair shedding. However, after two weeks the ball ache went away completely, but I am shedding a lot more now (mostly frontal)!!
My question is if this is normal or is the medication not working.. Also, how long does it usually take for finasteride to start working? Anyways, I appreciate any guidance and advice you guys provide!! Thanks in advance.
