finasteride Shed and Itching

I have been on propecia for almost 4 months now and have been shedding since the first week. My Doctor confirmed I have Telogen Effluvium but said I should stick with the propecia and that the shed hair would regrow, so I am doing my best to be patient and ride it out.

However, my scalp is itchy in places and I have scabby, flaky bumps on my scalp. Would Nizoral help with this or should I try something else?

Dude I dont want to sound like a prick or anything but the same thing happend to me. I firmly believe that the finasteride made my hair worse. Killed my density and believe it or not thinned my back and sides massivley!

Take it how you want if your doctor actually confirmed you have Telogen Effluvium then he did admit it is making your hair worse. Best of luck man ...
