finasteride question

i've read that taking propecia, or any form of finasteride i guess only had about 2% chance of sides, and out of those people, 58% said the side effects went away after continued use. but it seems like a big majority of people on here experience the side effects? is that just because the 2% are just speaking up more then those who aren't seeing sides, or are these numbers not quite accurate?? and i also remember reading "the younger you are, the less likely you are to experience side effects." is that statement at all true??

thanks for any help!! i feel the push to start on finasteride but i'm 22 and the potential sides really worry me...
