finasteride or minoxidil

Hi guys, i posted a pic of my hairline 3 weeks ago on this site and ive a norwood 1,5 i guess (look up for the pic and read there my story if u want and judge yourselfs). My right hairline where it recedes is red and itchy. im losing more hair than normal for like 2 years now. Im doubting about starting finasteride or minoxidil. Can i start with 0,5mg or less to maintain? Ive been on antidepressants for years and i had bad sexual sides, does finasteride include this?
Can my hairline recedes very fast if i take finasteride at first? can i fully restore my hairline or is it too late?

oye.. ive still litlle acne and now acne scars that im treating it with ematrix. Can minoxidil make it all worse?

If you have a history of depression, it may not be wise to start on finasteride. There are absolutely no downsides to minoxidil though besides having an itchy/dry scalp form time to time because of the alcohol.

ty for u comment.. good comment actually! Ive read that some will get wrinkles, acne, a puffy face or dark circles under their eyes.. i want to start 2% of minoxidil and i hope i wont reduce collagen because the treathment from acne scares are based on a higher level collagen..

Can minoxidil regrow or thicken the hairline??

sexual sides from finasteride and from the anti-depressant are likely totally unrelated as they work through different mechanisms. If the med didn't inhibit 5AR2 or lower DHT, its totally different

Well i started 2% minoxidil today and i found out that ive a std for like 6 months now.. omg right. So im on antibiotics. Can a std cause hair loss and faster receding hairline? Is starting applying minoxidil 2% 1 time a day okay? because i want to check if my face will swell..

Is 0,25 mg finasteride enough?

nothing causes male pattern baldness except DHT curing your STD will not help with your hair

.25mg is probably just as effective as 1mg
