Finasteride, minoxidil and 1.5mm dermaroller results

Hi I am a 33 year old male. I have been suffering from male pattern baldness for about 10 year. It started off really slowly with recession at the temples and then around 2017 it started at the crown. I was in denial for many years until 2020 where I realised how visible it was!

Over the past 8 months I have been on finasteride once a day and minoxidil twice a day. I started using a 1.5mm dermaroller once a week for the past 6 weeks as well.

I happy with the results so far. The density has improved the most. I am hoping these results will continue to improve up to the 1 year mark.

Thanks mate, had pretty much nothing for 6 months and then it started filling in for the last couple months.

Here is an 8 month update in some not so flattering lighting. Hairs on the crown are still filling in and thickening. No sign of any new hairs at temples.

Overall very happy with the results so far. Hoping the hair at the crown continues to get thicker. I wouldn't be too upset if if it didn't though, considering I was virtually bald in this area just a few months ago. I will update again at the 12 month stage.

Microneedling every 10 days now and will extend this to every 14 days in 2022.
