Finasteride is useless.

The best it can give you is a respectable combover in the long-run. If you take finasteride from age 25-50 and get hair transplants, you will still be rocking a comb over. So now we are paying money to get a comb over and erectile dysfunction. Awesome.

You are hitting the anti finasteride campaign pretty hard. You chastise the finasteride fanatics by calling them finasteride cheerleaders, but how are you any better by starting threads like this that are just flat out untrue? If you are against taking finasteride because if the potential for sides, that is fine, but spreading lies about treatment options is just the wrong thing to do.

I'm not spreading lies. Most hairloss forums are filled with advice like "get on finasteride yesterday", "get on finasteride today or tomorrow", "whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger", "no pain, no gain", "hair is better than sex". I have seen these REPEATEDLY on the forum and these lead people new to hairloss to jump into treatments without knowing the full picture. New hair loss victims should know that finasteride is a horrible drug and to use it only if they value hair over sexual function. You are taking a risk to get a cosmetic improvement.
