Finasteride. Is There A Best Time To Take It? With Or W/o Food?

For folks who have experience taking Finasteride, I have a question....

Is there a best or more effective time to take it? All that the label says is "take with or without food"?

Does anyone have any input in terms of whether it is taken with or without food has any impact on its effectiveness? Is it best taken in the am or pm?

It won't affect the effectiveness - you can take it anytime of the day and with food if you want, or without. They say take with or without food because it won't cause you the stomach irritation that other medicine will. Sometimes taking medicine with food helps ensure that it's absorbed in the bloodstream properly, though.
