Finasteride = Increased Estrogen == Growth Plates Shorten?

So this theoretically means that finasteride can stunt your growth?
And since not everyone is done with puberty at 18 shouldn't the label advise for you to be older before usingthe medication?

The rise is estrogen is pretty minimal. Like around 15% so that alone should not close the growth plates prematurely. You can always start at a lower dose while you are younger.

15% increase in estrogen sounds like a lot though. I really don't want to f*** up growing since I've grown about 2 inches this year. But at the same time my NW1.5-ish status is evaporating badly (was NW2V before minoxidil) and it's diffusing so idk what to do..

Finasteride should not prematurely close the growth plates. You are 19 so probably do not have much more to grow, if at all, if you have been growing steadily through puberty.

I would've hopped on finasteride last year but my brother stopped growing at 20. He told me he went from 6'0 to 6'1 within 18-20. Do you think taking finasteride will close this opportunity for me aswell?

Ironically enough we have the same balding aswell btw
