finasteride for diffuse thinning?

I just started finasteride 4 days ago, at .625 a day. With Nizoral every 3 days. I read up about this a lot, and had a lot of time to think about it, so I went for it as a last option. But now I realise I have diffuse thinning, without a receding hairline, so is this the best option? I've noticed a lot of people say it doesn't work for this :/

Basically I have very thin hair all over the top, and it's getting mighty see though, but not much actually balds spots, and I have no issues with hairline more than I'd expect at my age.

Note* good news for those out there stressing about hair loss, I first started worrying about thinning hair in my mid 20's, and now I'm 37. So it went a lot slower than I thought and I've had many years with hair. So maybe don't stress so much if you just noticed, you'll always be your own closest inspector and harshest critic.

Theoretically finasteride should work best on diffuse thinners.

This is because diffuse thinners still have hair all over the scalp, nothing is slick yet which is often the case for receders.

As long as you still have miniaturized hair on the scalp there is a chance it might turn terminal depending how long it's been in that miniaturized state.

I have diffuse thinning along with a receding hairline. Finasteride works. When I started taking it in my 20's, there would be 5 to 6 hairs on each hand after shampooing and some on my pillow in the morning. Once I got on Finasteride, there were no hairs. I think in all, my hair count has probably come down below baseline since I started it, but there's not a doubt in my mind the Finasteride slowed my hairloss down considerably for over 10 years.

Am I guaranteed to have a finasteride shed? If so when should I expect it? I and also I feel like I've just gone through a big shed, or a sudden worsening of the thinning in last weeks, that's why I started finasteride. Will that mean I lose more again? Jesus! I would shave, but that's what I'm fighting, I have a really thin face and don't look good with that look :/

It was a long time ago but I don't remember having a finasteride shed, so it's likely not guaranteed. If I did, it was not noticeable.

We WHO suffers dupa has less chance on finasteride, we respons better on minoxidil I have read, think this way your shaved for a while then you have hair for a long time, if you shed more hair on finasteride it's a finasteride shed, and belive me it is annoying when your shaved you don't think about it
