Still new here but becoming fan, im 27 and I think I have caught my hair loss earlyish.
I have been on finasteride (Propecia) for 5 weeks now, thankfully no sides and all going smoothly, my main problem area is the dreaded hairline, its started to recede but has been a very slow process, taken 2/3 years to get to what it in now and that is thinning of the corners about 2cm upwards, no smooth bald areas yet and the way i style my hair no one has ever noticed, I "may" have slight thinning of the crown, hard to tell as I have a double crown/cow lick, like a "S" shape so either way, its not a problem.
Now what im trying to get at is the how propecia will help and my expectations, I know the hairline is the hardest area to work with but im not expecting any reqrowth, no thickining just for it to stop or slow down, i would be happy if I can put a temp brake on it all (when i say brake, slow it down to a snails pace to get me some good more years) is that at least possible?
BUT if I did get some better results I would be over the moon of cause but im remaining realistic just want to know im not wasting my time I guess and just need some ecouragement!
