Hello Everyone!
I know I am new here. I am 25 years old and I have been losing my hair at a steady pace since I was 18. 1 year ago my frontal hairloss was so bad I had to use rogaine foam. Since then it has stablized to a degree. However I have discovered that my crown area is getting thin to the point where you can almost see my scalp. I am now considering using finasteride.
I dont know if anyone has ever done anything like what I propose to try. In the first month I want to cut the pill into 4 peices taking one piece each day. Then the next month cut in three, then the third month down to 2 before I take one whole pill per day.
Now I understand that taking 1/4 of a pill each day will not do much for regrowth but that is not my initial intention. Instead I want to slowly introduce the finasteride into my body, so it can adapt and adjust to it according to the doseage. I am also hoping by doing it like this it can reduce the chance of getting any sides. All I ask for is opinions on weather this is a good idea or not. I figure why not at this point sometimes one person has to experiment for something to work on multiple people. Theres only so much that one person can do to reduce their hairloss but hey were all in this together.
