finasteride dosages.

Hi guys,

doctor gave me finasteride prescription today. im 22, and thinning in the front along with temple recetion, but its no too bad. he said normal dose is 1 tablet a day, but i can take half a tablet a day and ill still see results.

Now, i want the best for my hair, so im going to take the full tablet everyday. However, would i benefit from taking two half-tablets each day, half in the morning and half at night against just 1 tablet every night?

what about the half life thinggii everyone talks about. wouldn't it be a good idea to give it another boost, in the same day before it runs out.

people half or quarter the 5mg dosage of the drug called proscar

halving 1mg and taking it 2x a day is pointless, take it once a day

or, you could take .5 mg a day to save money, studies show that .5mg is almost as effective as 1mg, but i would stick with 1mg a day

the drug does not "run out" you body produces so little DHT and does it so slowly, that it takes 30 days for dht levels to return to normal just after a few doses

FWIW, you can try it if you want, it's unlikely to do any good but it won't do any harm either...

I wouldn't bother though - if talking half the dose twice a day was beneficial, that's how you'd be instructed to take it instead of once a day.

There is a chart somewhere that showed the percentage of how good it worked compared to 1mg.

And 0,2mg already had 70% of the effect of a 1mg pill
0,5 was something like 85% I believe.

So yeah I also started with halves (no side effects yet), and will use 1mg next month.

Guys, i have been taking half tablets of finasteride for something like 8 days now.

What ive noticed:

my annoying itch's have decreased dramatically.
noticed a decrease in sexual desire, but im not concerned as i was a horny f****r anyways. i still wake up with a stag btw.

i have been taking photo's, i will update every 2 months or so.
