Finasteride dissolving - how long does it stay intact

So I'm now going to try smaller dose to avoid sides and dissolving finasteride in alcohol sounds like an effective and precise way to do that.

For a few weeks I've cut a 5mg finasteride tablet in two and put the other half into 25ml 40% alcohol and taken 1ml, so the daily dosage is 0.1mg and with that dosage the "supply" will last 25days.
My plan is to stick with 0.1mg and see if has any effect on ie. scalp itch and up the dosage maybe to 0.2mg later on.

My question is how long will the finasteride stay intact in 40% alcohol solution, or whether it "decays" at all in a relatively short amount of time (few day - weeks)

All the chemists out there and people knowledgeable in pharmacology please chime in

For the past few years I've taken one tab of fincar 5mg and dissolved it into 5 ml of grain alcohol and taken .5 ml per day with an oral syringe, so it last me 10 days.

I've been doing this for about three years so I it's stable for sure, but not sure if your method would be as stable or not. I've never been a fan of splitting up pills because the dose is not always gonna be 100% spread evenly throughout the pill, so I'd just plop the whole thing in your vial and keep it in the fridge.

I think it can last up to 30 days. Depends on things like room temperature and concealment etc.

How important do you guys think the room temperature is? I assume by consealment you mean the container has to be airtight and out of sunlight.

To give you an update if your interested: It's been over 2 months now since I started with the 0,1mg and the itch which I thought lessened considerably in the first 2 weeks is back again. Also I stopped splitting the pill as suggested but am using 0,2mg now so the supply lasts the same 25days.

I'm not sure how to continue from now on since I seem to have 2 options: just keep increasing the dosage until itch is gone(which I believe should be a good indicator that it's working since I only itch in the male pattern baldness-area) or try to make the solution more stable.
