finasteride & body hair

What is the chances of losing some body hair while being on finasteride?

Anyone with real experience?

finasteride decreases DHT, and this actually increases body hair growth, don't ask me why.

sorry, that was kind of a confusing post! DHT makes body hair grow faster, so by taking finasteride you decrease DHT, which in turn DECREASES the body hair growth... hope this makes sense now!

i decreased a good bit of body hair on finasteride... virtually non on stomach and little chest... hair on arms is more "boyish" rather than "man" hair

I have been on Propecia for 8 months and have the same body hair as always.

I have been on Propecia for 6 months and I lost a little body hair mainly from abdomen and chest area, arms and legs are not affected.

For those that haven't lost any hair it could be that your also taking minoxidil which increases body hair?
