Finasteride Ball Ache Side Effect. Normal?

Was on Finasteride for only a week and had ball ache. So I called my dermatologist and he told to stop taking it. I see on this forum that a lot of people have the same side effects. Was it an overreaction or should I just stop taking it?

1) it's still fuking hilarious to me that DERMATOLOGISTS and quack hair transplant surgeons can prescribe finasteride. become a real f*****g doctor already.

2) anything and everything can be expecting when taking this sh*t man. don't act surprised. it's altering your hormones. If you expecting it to just be a cool, calm ride with zero side effects, then you've read the wrong information.

3) you have to determine which is more important, your hair or taking a drug that is going to effect your hormones. ball ache, tingly balls, watery semen, reduced libido, weak erections, trouble ejaculating, lower sperm count, etc... are all regularly noted side effects on this stuff.

Your derm (along with 99% of the derm population) is a f*****g retard who obviously hasn't read a single word about what the f*** he is prescribing. The vast majority of people using the drug will have ball ache in the first month, he should know better than to tell you to avoid based on that. This is the last thing you need to worry about on finasteride.

Is ball ache common? if not then what do we expect?

i’m talking finasteride .25Mg for last 1 week and i’m feeling little pain in my left ball. What do you suggest?

Ball ache is the most common side effect it seems, that with watery sperm. In my case I definitely had the ball afhe in the beginning but my sperms consistency changes daily... sometimes it’s huge watery loads of nutritious goodness, sometimes it’s like an extracted strawberry glaze reduction sauce for how thick it is... I love it because you never know what you’re gonna get!

Dermatologist suggested I take 1mg 3x a week. Instead of every day. So far I haven’t had any sides. I think a lot of people have the ball ache but from what I hear it goes away after a while.

The only side effect i got was brain fog during the first week.

After that nothing, but really nothing...I'm lucky i guess

Yes, I have experienced it for about 2 weeks. Kinda freaks me out a lil bit. But after a month, I think my body has adjusted to its new dht levels and it now it's subside. I still feel it but very rarely at times but it doesn't bother me anymore.
