exactly 5 months on finas today. Hair density all over has decreased significantly. Not sure if it’s the minoxidil or finas but reading a lot about reflex hyperandronecity has me a bit freaked out. Thinking of reducing minoxidil to pm only. Also seeing lots of red bumps but I had those before I started as well. Not sure if I’m imagining increased itch or not. Beginning to think I’m a bad responder since hair thinning like crazy in areas that were fine before starting. It’s crazy that so many have bad responses to this medicine. 90% success rate they tell you!

It's over.
Give it another 6 months or throw in the towel? Lots of differing opinions on this forum. Some say if your hair loss increases after treatment you should stop and move on to sometimes my else. Others say you need to give it a full year and that too many people quit too early.

Hair regrowth is not always a straight trajectory. Sometimes your hair will go through cycles where it feels/looks worse.
