Is finasteride safe at 19? I have almost a full beard now as well as the body hairs have matured except the chest hairs. Should I start with a lower dose for fewer side effects?

Thankgod i dont have a receding hairline at all. Hair is pretty thick near the temples but the front and the vertex is thinning out little bit. No idea what to start.
