Finasteride and soya?

There's plenty of reports about the benefit of soya for women but the reports for men are wishy-washy and confusing.

Does anyone have a proper idea of if soya can be a negative thing for men in general, and specifically those taking drugs like finasteride?

It's speculated that soya can help with hair loss but again, the information is conflicting.

I ask because I don't like proper milk and cheese. It makes me tired and bloated. I'm not lactose intolerant but I just think it's too "heavy" for me, so I use soya milk, eat soya yoghurt etc..

hair loss is genetic and there is nothing to do about it,you can only make it worse if you use blow-dryer or chimical gels.

I understand hair loss is genetic etc etc etc but obviously we can do something about it, hence finasteride, minoxidil etc...

I know the above aren't going to stop it 100% but they're a start.

Anyway, I've read up about soya and it's speculated that it is a mild antiandrogen anyway, and often a clue to why people in Asia suffer less hair loss (they have a lot more soya and a lot less diary in their diets). But... all speculation.

See, I'm not sure whether I should make a complete switch to almond milk. I really like the taste but it's harder to get hold of, hence using soya because everywhere sells soya milk now.
