finasteride and sides

i recently started on finasteride but gave up on it because i was getting awful pains in my abdomin and i had a complete lack of a sex drive which still hasnt returned ,i was only on it for 2 weeks,has anyone else expierenced such sides i've noticed that people tend to fob you off if you complain about sides.So i've decided not to continue and was wondering does anyone know of another dht inhibitor.I'm also worried of the long term sides from finasteride if i had continued.Wat yis think?

He said pain in his abdomen - not pain in his sides. It may have been testicular pain.....bit hard to tell without the poster beingh more specific. Not even the most ardent finasteride devotee would deny the existence of testicular ache for some at the beginning of finasteride usage.

How about ache in the prostate area itself?

I felt some of that when I first started using finasteride. Wasn't expecting it but it happened.
