It seems relatively normal and a good sign that the treatment is working when shedding occurs in the first few months of finasteride useage. If I've taken minoxidil and topical spironolactone for 8 months and experienced really good regrowth and roughly 75% reduction in hairloss then will I still go through a shedding process as I don't really have any weak hairs anymore (they are all thick, strong terminal hairs). I read that finasteride only sheds the weak hairs to make way for healthier new hairs although I don't know for sure if this is right it sounds plausible. All views will be appreciated.
