Finasteride and Facial Hair

Does anyone know that if taking Finasteride while still going through puberty (age 20) will prevent facial hair from coming in?

Not according to my experience, no. It seems like body hair, including facial hair, mainly depends on testosterone.

facial hair is something that is usually determined by genetics

when i was 20 i thought by 25 i would have filled in better
but it's about the same

it has nothing to do with using finasteride

use finasteride with discretion

I don't doubt that finasteride can have some pretty awful sides and isn't for everyone. But makes your face look older and destroys your motivation? I don't think those are proven side effects.

What are finasteride's side effects? And how do I know I have some of them?

I started at 21 and come from a very hairy family. I have always had a pretty thick beard and lots of body hair. However, I am less hairy than my family members. I'm pretty sure that this is from finasteride. I quit 2 months ago and I am getting new/thicker body and beard hair.

I do think starting young is risky. My urologist told me that my prostate is the size of a transexual's on feminizing hormones from years of shrinking it.

Proven side effects are far different than side effects experienced by the finasteride community. Its called brain fog. U can look those things up if you want I don't want to explain it, nor should u need to hear about it if u have no sides on finasteride.
